Vireo Energy commissions the Zabrze landfill gas installation

In June 2012, Vireo Energy commenced producing and selling renewable electricity from the Zabrze landfill gas installation. During 2012 Vireo has completed a project involving upgrade and expansion of the old gas extraction system and installation of a gas motor to allow production of electricity from this renewable energy source which is fed into the local power grid.
